The GD-K7D2 is a complete sample drawing gas detector, providing long lasting monitoring for a wide range of toxic gases. Designed for easy maintenance access, the sensor and pump can be changed quickly and with no tools required. The GD-K7D2 enjoys the best reputation in the industry for the quality and longevity of this model and its sensors.
The heart of the GD-K7D2 is the electrochemical sensor. These field proven sensors are the best in the industry. Each GD-K7D2 sensor is aged and tested for up to 3 months, resulting in 3 to 5 years or more. The sensors are quick to respond, highly accurate and selective to the gas being monitored. The long life pump will provide many years of trouble free service, and allows the unit to be monitored up to 60 feet from the sampling point. A linear 4-20mA output is provided for signal transfer to a reliable RKI Beacon Series Controller, or to a customer supplied PLC or DCS system. An optional NEMA 4x enclosure is available for harsh environments.
